Marketing our public education courses and seminars is vital to the success of our RBS missions. Without effective marketing our courses we cannot get students. Without students we cannot generate income for our flotillas. Without income, flotillas cannot successfully fund their RBS programs. In addition to delivering a wide variety of education products to the public, flotillas need to generate income to fund more effective public affairs and program visitation programs, as well as successful public education programs. Flotillas have only two sources of income, and one of those continues to shrink - membership dues. We want to help grow the other source - income from public education while keeping our waterways safer.
